Lifetime Warranty

Pilatech ensures that all new equipment is free from manufacturing defects, both in the materials used and in the assembly procedures.
Each equipment is pre-assembled and individually tested.

The extreme attention to every detail, the high quality of the materials and the experience that has brought us so far allows us to differentiate ourselves from the competitors with something extraordinary:

Pilatech is garanting lifetime warranty on its equipment.

Pilatech warranty becomes effective with the invoice date of the original purchase.
Any parts that are subject to wear and tear (as specified in attachment D of every single product sheet) are not included in the warranty or have a short-time warranty (for the duration of the warranty of each component see the instruction manuals).
Any defect or deformity of whichever part of the ordered and delivered equipment has to be declared to Pilatech Srl as soon as possible after having been discovered and no later than 8 days after delivery, as by terms of law.

Warranty doesn’t apply if:

• the equipment has been subject to accident, misuse, abuse and improper service
• the equipment has not been revised periodically and/or is not subject to a service contract
• the assembly has been performed by incompetent persons and ignoring the proper assembly instructions
• the equipment has been subject to any modification or maintenance with non-original Pilatech spare parts
• the service has been performed by non-Pilatech personnel
• the equipment isn’t any longer in the possession of its original buyer

Warranty doesn’t cover any damages such as cuts, tears, burns, stains, soiling or damage caused by non-advised cleaning products, damage caused by external agents or by any other unreasonable use.
Once a manufacturing defect in workmanship or materials has been detected, Pilatech will repair and exchange the defected component or complete part, to our discretion.
Parts repaired or replaced will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period.

This warranty does not cover any damage caused during transport.
This warranty does not cover any shipping charges, customs clearance fees (if applicable) or any costs incurred in installing repaired or replacement parts shipped under the provisions of this warranty.
In no case this warranty covers any compensation for direct or indirect harm caused to persons or things by misuse of the equipment.
In case warranty applies, any repair or exchange shall be carried out with identical materials; if not available, Pilatech will provide the most similar, equivalent material.

Attention:

Any damage caused during delivery is covered by the transport insurance agreed with the chosen courier.
Therefore to get the refund procedure any delivery of goods MUST be marked “Accepted with reservation” on the attached DDT / delivery document, with indication of the correspondent reason, for example “damaged packaging”.
Any damage has to be declared no later than 8 days as of the delivery date, by terms of law.

Right of withdrawal

All our products are covered by warranty for any defect or flaw inherent to the same product, these events must be reported by e-mail or fax within 8 days of delivery. In this case, we will replace the product to our costs.
As our customer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract, without affecting your statutory rights, according to art. 5 of Legislative Decree 22 May 1999, n. 185. This allows you to return the product, upon notice within 8 days from its delivery by e-mail to assistance@pilatech.com or by letter or fax +39 031 768 691, and to obtain the replacement with another product or refund of the paid amount.

The only cost that will be charged is the shipment expenses.
The right of withdrawal is applied only to whole goods at the time of return and can not be applied to products that by their nature can not be returned.
