Pilatech has chosen to use, for all its production, a range of painting products for low environmental impact.
Water-based paints, for the degree of innovation and technical level, have been also awarded by the European Commission through the LIFE brand.
Respecting the Man and the Environment
Has been shown that a source of harmful emissions is constituted by the residual substances from a varnished manufactured item, with a risk to the health of the internal environment in which it is placed and also to the user's safety.
Direct feedback comes even by the appreciation of the smell of "new" that often perceive when we buy a new furniture.
In fact that smell is nothing more than the solvent, that our new purchase still emanates, and we would be wise in making us aware of the danger and assess how essential proper aerated for several days.
Our equipment, by the very nature of the paints used, significantly reduce the risk of emissions and are completely odorless.
Furthermore, the high chemical-physical resistance of the coating is further increased by the use of fine silicon granules in the mixture, making the wood and high resistance against abrasion and scratches.
Even for such a feature we have been performed several laboratory tests, up to the choice of the optimal result.
Outdoor line
The line OD - Outdoor mixture is used for exterior, with the same characteristics as water and anti-scratch with the addition of special anti-UV sunscreens, to prevent yellowing, aging of the wood and thus prevent the wood aging process under strong sunlight.
